The NMEA 043-2 S multiplexer has the same characteristics as the NMEA 043-2 multiplexer with the addition of an activation dongle for the StarNavPilot software.
Advantages of the multiplexer:
The use of this multiplexer allows you to take full advantage of the central navigation mode by displaying on the screen all the navigation instruments of the NMEA network.
With its 4 opto-isolated inputs, its automatic pilot output, its serial / RS232 / USB communication port for PC, it will become the central node of your network of navigation instruments. Gather all the NMEA data from your navigation instruments to transmit them to the computer on which StarNavPilot is running. Connect an autopilot securely.
What is an activation dongle?
This is a hardware key allowing the use of the software on any computer connected to the device. No need to activate the program by registering a license. You can use the program on as many computers as necessary and change computers freely. You do not need internet access to reinstall and restart your system on a new computer. In the case of the multiplexer, the dongle is a software function included in the device's processor.
To start up a new computer with StarNavPilot:
Install the software.
Connect the multiplexer.
If you have exported your charts, annotations, routes, waypoints, danger areas, etc. re-import these elements.
Everything is operational.
Independence from the supplier. You can install everything in total autonomy.
