StarNavPilot has all
the tools necessary for vectorization of charts from raster charts(BSB charts,
scans of charts with a camera, captures etc ...). All the functions of chart
mounts, mergers, modifications and updates are available.
These functions can be used to vectorize
a raster chart but also to add elements on a raster chart (markup, channel,
particular areas, port constructions etc ...). In this case, you create a vector
chart using a raster charts as the basechart. You can retrieve information from
an existing vector charts (and not necessarily at the same scale) and add them
to your chart.

precision, ease of updating. A few seconds are enough to add vector elements to
a raster chart.
