How does danger areas work?

Danger areas are polygons of any shape surrounding an area where the boat must not enter due to a danger (eg shallow water)

If the boat enters a danger area, its display changes to highlight it and an audible alert with voice message is played.

You can control the color, thickness and style of the lines when the boat is outside or in a danger area.

Tracing a danger area only takes a few seconds directly on the chart.

Example of a danger area to ward off a reef:

Danger zone
deactivated

Boat entering the danger area:

danger zone activated
