StarNavPilot allows you to use any type of bitmap file and georeference it to
get a nautical chart.
StarNavPilot has all the necessary tools for
georeferencing.
Initially a raster chart is always a graphic file
representing a chart to which is added georeferencing information.
To create a raster chart with the graphic file of a nautical chart, all you have
to do is know the geographic coordinates of two points located on this chart.
It is possible to make document corrections both graphically (tilt
orientation) and geographically by creating as many correction points as
necessary on the chart. Correction of graphic distortion or projection problem.
So if you have the graphic file of a nautical chart, just load this
file into StarNavPilot and geo-referencing the image to obtain an immediately
usable nautical chart.
